This article lists some extra steps needed to make the ASP examples on Windows Server 2003 and 2008 work. Applies to QuickOPC-COM Bonus Pack 5.00. The instructions are actually standard stuff, but some users stumble anyway, therefore reading this article may help.

Under Windows Server 2003 (verified with Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition Service Pack 2), make sure that under "Web Service Extensions", you have allowed "Active Server Pages", otherwise IIS will report that the page cannot be found on the server. This is how it looks before the change:

Under Windows Server 2008 (verified with Window Server 2008 Service Pack 1), the server must have Web Server (IIS) role, and in it, make sure you have the "Web Server -> Application Development -> ASP" role service.
